Here's my cynical prediction about Path to 9/11.

1. The movie will air.

2. It will be worse than we thought.

3. 65,000 of the 94,000 DUers will be watching it, even though we all have said we wouldn't.

4. There will be at least 250 threads about content in the movie both nights.

We DUers are gluttons for punishment. We will all make a pledge that we won't watch the crap-u-drama but when the time comes we will have our eyes glued to it.

You are right about your third and fourth points. Some people here insist on giving a full play by play every time Bush gives a speech or appears on live TV. Why? Just ignore him. He still has a legitimacy problem from the 2000 election, which I still cannot get over. I'll be watching movies on the Encore channel, and avoiding DU.
