hopefully directed by Michael Moore. It will depict how a right-wing cabal of born-again Christians dragooned Tom Kean, Disney, and ABC to produce a $40,000,000 docudrama (now a "dramatization") based (sorta, except for the parts that weren't and that never really happened) on the famous 911 Commission Report and then tried to market the movie to American viewers (and to innocent schoolkids) as "history". I think it will make interesting viewing.

The lead Disney executive will be played by Peewee Herman.

I'm hopeful that Mel Brooks and Gene Wilder will make themselves available to play the born-again screenwriter and the director

Of course this would only be an inferior sequel to the original blockbuster --which appears with each passing day to be the greatest work of revisionist historical "drama" since "Springtime for Hitler".

2. Just wait. My latest cartoon at Grand Theft Election Ohio is called
The Path To The Path To 9/11. As soon as my techie person has it on line I will post it. It isnt what you are envisioning, of course. This is a single panel 'toon with Mickey and Donald and the boys.

4. Plus, they are breaking one of the Ten Commandments!
The one which says, "Thou shalt not bear false witness against anybody." That is the one they usually use against anybody who tells a lie when trying to fend off attacking bullies (admittedly not usually the best thing to do but not necessarily against this Commandment). Still, this Commandment really forbids what these Right-wingers are doing in this slanderous movie, and which some of them have been doing for years: spreading lies to smear somebody else and get him/her falsely accused of something. As in the Swift Boat attacks on Cleland and Kerry and Murtha. Where do they get this punitive zeal? Jesus expressly forbade his followers to use corporal punishment or coercion to advance the cause of the Church. "A new commandment I give you, that you love one another... Be ye kind!" He ordered this kindness, not only to other Christians, but to everyone. Christ explicitly told his disciples that anybody who was not against them "is actually with us." He expressly forbade them to get swollen heads about their supposed righteousness. He told them not to get ideas about what a great service they would be doing Him in spreading his message or even in helping people in trouble. That is the true meaning of "Let not your left hand know what your right hand has done," which is so often misunderstood. It refers to the speed with which we are to forget our good deeds. We are supposed to move beyond our own petty concerns, look for new good things to do, to lose ourselves in loving others. Anybody who has ever worked to exhaustion in a rescue effort knows how good it feels to get so caught up in helping that you forget yourself. He quoted the Jewish scriptures, "Thou shalt love the Lord Thy God with all Thy heart, and soul, and mind, and the second is just like it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these hang all the Law and the Prophets." In other words, love makes everybody do crazy things sometimes and that is good, and all love comes from God, and God is Love (and He makes Himself do crazy things sometimes, like forgive us for our vindictive, selfish pride, even if it "kills" Him). This is the Christian message, not the prissy, smug, greedy ranting of the extreme right wing. You cannot serve both God and Wealth (that is what "Mammon" means). Jesus said that he was not here to condemn the world, but to save it, through love.
