Path to 9/11: No, what we want ain't censorship
Edited on Fri Sep-08-06 09:34 PM by LuckyTheDog
Nobody is calling for the burning of that idiotic ABC miniseries. Disney can run it on cable, put it on DVD and sell it, post it on the Internet or produce it as a play and take it on the road, for all I care.

But a movie clearly packed with lies should not be on the public airwaves.

1. Censorship is killing the truth
Killing a lie ... is just the right thing to do

2. I don't have a problem with them running it at all
as long as there is a huge disclaimer every 15 minutes stating that what people are watching is pure fiction but under no circumstances is it to be taught in the schools.

3. They must state that it is not based on the 9/11 commission report too.
Thats to correct their previous false advertising.

4. It isn't censorship
A rain of cruise missiles onto one of Bin Laden's training camps actually happened!
Indeed it would make a kicking action scene during which the initial credits could run.
What they're showing didn't happen.
Naturally they can show any version they like.
If we could actually block it without input from abc, it would be censorship.
But i find it sufficiently irritating that I'm going to punish them for it.
Ive got a lifetime of viewing history with ABC. Ive told them they're locked out with no parole if they show this abomination.
We've got a wretched excuse for a president who compounds our problems by trying to rule as a dictator.
Everyone knows he's completely owned and operated by Big Business.
The thought of a production glossing this idiot's indecision and incompetence raises my gorge. I wont patronize any organization connected in any way with making it.
I do believe the true target of this is the kids. It's the only way the enemy can get their version in before they lose control of the State for another generation.

5. This is the GOP trying to alter history
for political purposes. You better believe we'll yell like hell.
