If they can manipulate language so can I
I'm going to start a couple of language oriented policies in my writing.

1.) I'm always going to use quotes when I refer to the "President".

2.) Right winger are right wing douche bags, or right wing douche,
never just right winger or right wing. (I've been doing this for a
long time anyway).

3.) I'm always going to refer to Republicans who appose Bush as
Conservatives, but never refer to Republicans who support Bush as
Conservatives. From now on, only Republicans support Bush,
Conservatives do not.

1. You can spout as much propaganda as you want as long as you
preface it with, "Some say…"

2. Yea, I'm not going to do that, that's dishonest
What I'm talking about is using words in a way that more accurately portray the truth.

4. You're too nice
I'd like the word conservative associated with Bush and all his failures.

5. I want to split the herd
I want traditional conservatives to take back their party.

I think we need at least two real parties. If we don't support a multi party system we are just like them. It stands to reason the other party/parties may not agree with us.

6. no name calling. that is something i consistantly see with the right
and NOT with the left. it is something i am proud of and really really like about us. i dont want to be a name caller. please, dont be a name caller with me.

i always get them to resorting to name calling whenever they dont have argument. when they have lost. you are better than that

7. If the cap fit, let them wear it
Sorry, I'm done pulling my punches in the name of morality.

These cheerleaders who still trumpet the talking points are in fact douche bags. The term is descriptive, accurate, and has a nice ring.

I have no hesitation in using it. My other two suggestions have nothing to do with name calling.

13. and i didnt comment on your other two suggestions
name calling is not even adolscent, but 4 year old behavior. do as you please. it dismisses all argument at the point of calling names. people stop listening.

17. They aren't listening anyway
What difference does it possibly make now.

Only 37% of the country still supports Bush. They are not going to change their minds...ever.

These are the people who supported Nixon and still do, these are the people who think Liddy was doing the country a favor when he got caught trying to bug the Democratic headquarters.

If you think there is an argument to win with these people you are wasting your time and your breath.

Energize democrats, turnout wins elections.

9. as a historian, I have to call them Nazis
It takes 3 generations to make a culture. Prescott, Poppy, and TeenyWeenyPeenie. They were all Nazis, of the genuine German persuasion. Therefore, they and their followers are all Nazis.

It's not a slur. It's just a fact, and they don't even deny it. They are PROUD of it. Just watch the Governator if you don't believe it.

11. I call'em fascists and plain old authoritarians
They have elements common in any authortarian regime...definitely fascists 'cause the state and the corporation are the same to them and Benito knows best 'bout fascism. The propaganda tactics are the usual ones anyone seeking control of the masses engage in...

It's all got an American flavor though(naturally - it has to)...as in wrapped in the flag and sold as the American way
