FreeRepublic on Path 911 now on p. 2 of Google

In googling "Path to 911"

on edit - I meant to link the google site - page 2
This is weird - when I copy the Goolgle site from the address on page two - this is what I get when I paste it into this post.

Probably cause you have Googled FR or related sites previously or frequently.

FR could also be one of the most recent sites Google crawls and adds to the database. Lets see if the results are the same in a few days.

13. quotes and bad punctuation make a difference

For one thing, you didn't say if you enclosed "Path to 911" in quotes when doing the Google search...it makes a BIG difference. When you do that, the second full hit (the first pair of hits are from Think Progress) is to a FR topic titled "The Path to 911: Blog."

However, I'd like to point out that "911" is INCORRECT! You dial "911" when you have an emergency, but the date is referenced as "9/11" and the resulting Google search (on "Path to 9/11" with quotes) results in "about 2,330,000" hits, while the previous, defective search on has "about 75,200" hits.

So, of course dumbass freeper topics would contain "911" instead of "9/11" -- let's not be as stupid as they are, please!

(on edit: I tried your search without enclosing it in quotes and sure enough, the FR post was demoted to the middle of the second page. However, if you do the search the correct way, with proper punctuation and quotes, the first FR hit is on page 7 of the search, and it's to a topic titled 'Did ABC Edit "The Path to 9/11"')
