Chris Wallace slams ABC Path To 9/11: “It’s Slanderous & Defamatory"
September 8th, 2006

Chris Wallace slams ABC on 9/11 project: “I think it’s slanderous, I think it’s defamatory and I think that ABC and Disney should be held to account

Wallace:…but when you put somebody on the screen and say that’s Madeleine Albright and she said this in a specific conversation and she never did say it, I think it’s slanderous, I think it’s defamatory and I think that ABC and Disney should be held to account.—it better be what she said or I think she has a heck of a case…

1. The conservatives are scared shitless that this will backfire on them.
It most certainly has busted the myth of the "liberal" media.

12. rove orders faux to test the waters
Get "conservatives" into a position of opposing this. See if we can look like we have some integrity or something. Send Wallace out, maybe the liberals will confuse him for his Dad.

6. asshole son of Mike Wallace
He went on the air and said, the old man has lost it, referring to Wallace Sr's political beliefs.

9. How does a "conservative" hold one to account?"
bush recently said he took "full responsibility" for something or other. What happened to him? Was he punished? Fined? Held to account? Made to compensate to those wronged? I just love it when some "conservative" takes responsibility for something. limbaugh lied about his football injury. Did he take responsibility? cheney got drunk and shot a man in the face? Did he take responsibility and was duly punished? bush lies have costs tens of thousands their lives and yet has he be held to account? ABC will dodge the bullet on this one. I doubt the show will air.

Oh and Chris Wallace, what a fucking source of integrity there.

If they run it, they're looking for a slam-dunk libel case.

they are truly screwed now. This makes the GOP look absolutely awful.

21. No big suprise that Fox has joined in on the pile-on.
They do pay attention to the shifting of the winds, and ABC is one of their competitors. What better platform to bray about being "fair and balanced" than to say, "See, we agree the movie is slanderous."

Anyone happen to know what prime-time show that Fox has scheduled for those nights that they would want to lure viewers away from ABC ...?

Suddenly, all of their long-whispered propaganda about Clinton's culpability in the attacks is being analyzed and very publicly debunked. They've made "who's to blame for 9-11?" an acceptable topic of debate, and they do not like where it's going.

They're afraid that after all of the lies that slander Clinton are removed, it will leave the truth that puts the blame where it really belongs.
