I'M SO GOD DAMNED PISSED OFF!
Edited on Fri Sep-08-06 02:17 PM by Texas Explorer
I started writing a long post outlining each point that has me so fucking furious that I can't do anything but obsess over it and dig and dig and dig for the truth. I'm a writer for an alternative energy website for God's sake and I haven't been able to produce anything lately. Most of my time now is spent trying not to miss anything on DU and other truthseekers, and I mean ALL DAY LONG EVERY DAY!

The more I try to write the longer post, the more pissed and desparate I become. So, I'll just keep it short and save the long rants for another day. Here are the things that are PISSING ME OFF the most:

1) I've only ever just passed through New Orleans and, as such, I am not very familiar with it on a more personal level. But what happened after Katrina INFURIATES me. I AM SICK AND GOD-DAMNED TIRED OF THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION IGNORING THE POOR PEOPLE OF NEW ORLEANS!!! I'M FUCKING PISSED!

2) I've never served in the military so I am not familiar with bravery possessed by our troops in combat. I AM SICK AND GOD-DAMNED TIRED OF THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION USING OUR BRAVE MEN AND WOMEN AS PAWNS IN HIS IRAQ OIL GRAB!!!

3) I pay my taxes and I pay my bills and I expect my government to use MY MONEY responsibly. I AM SICK AND GOD-DAMNED TIRED OF THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION BANKRUPTING MY COUNTRY TO LINE THEIR OWN POCKETS!!!

4) I was watching right from the first minute as the events of 9/11 began to unfold. Some things did not look right to me that day. I AM SICK AND GOD-DAMNED TIRED OF THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION LYING TO ME ABOUT WHAT REALLY HAPPENED THAT DAY AND THEN TRYING TO CONVINCE ME OF THEIR LIES THROUGH THE AIRING OF PROPOGANDIST BULLSHIT LIKE THE MEDIA AND WITH "DOCUDRAMAS"!!!

5) I don't have anything to hide. But, I AM SICK AND GOD-DAMNED TIRED OF THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION SPYING ON ME IN VIOLATION OF THE LAW AND MY CONSTITUTIONAL FREEDOMS!!!

6) I'm not young, but I'm not old and I have children that I care for and care about and they ain't all mine. I AM SICK AND GOD-DAMNED TIRED OF THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION PROFITING FROM THE VERY SAME FOSSIL FUELS THAT ARE DESTROYING THIS PLANET AND OUR CHILDREN'S FUTURE THEREON!!!

You know what. I could go on and on. And I apologize for the rough language, but it gives emphasis to my anger. Tell me, what are you pissed about and sick and tired of?

9. The failures and crimes of this administration are profoundly
astounding. And perhaps the one single thing that infuriates me the most is that they are allowed to continue their failures and crimes day after day after day while ourreputation and our people in Iraq and New Orleans are dying day after day after day. I've had it.

5. I'm right there with you, TE. Here's one that pisses me off:
THE GODDAMNED LAZY FUCKING "REPORTERS" who are supposed to REPORT THE NEWS, but instead just swallow whatever they are told and then parrot it back to us.

The other day, I was talking to one of my co-workers about the upcoming elections. Then we were talking about 2004. I told her I had been watching one of the local Seattle channels that night, and when their election-watcher said that Ohio had gone to Bush, one of the anchors took her little red pen, said, "Okay, Ohio goes to Bush", and checked off the state on her little piece of paper. I had been following what was happenening in Ohio -- long lines in poor/black/Democratic areas vs. very short lines in rich/white/Republican areas. People deliberately being sent to the wrong polling places. Being wrongly missing from the voter rolls. And I started screaming at the television: "WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH YOU PEOPLE???? DON'T YOU KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON? THERE IS SOMETHING TERRIBLY WRONG IN OHIO!!! CHECK IT OUT!!!!" I called the station, and was basically given the brush off. I was so damned furious I couldn't see straight.

10. I understand your anger and frustration so well.
I can't stand to watch Bush on TV or hear his voice. I know he's a liar, a thief, a cheat, a drug abuser, and a drunk. His family has a long history of shady dealings. What did America expect from him when he announced his candidacy for President? I saw him on TV and thought to myself, "There is no way this idiot could win."

Well, we know that he didn't win. But I didn't expect a corrupt Supreme Court to appoint him to the position. Nor did I expect the media to be complicit in covering up his lies.

I also didn't expect the vote tampering in 2004.

And yes, I am angry that stupid Americans who don't apparently have a brain in their skulls to think with, continue to support the man.

So, when people start posting concerns and others accuse them of conspiracy theories, I keep an open mind whenever possible. I wouldn't put anything past this bunch of thugs. And that's exactly what they are, thugs in suits. Pretending to be respectable and caring leaders.

B U L L S H I T !

Every time anybody walks in, I'm on the computer reading DU or other related news. I think they think I'm obessed....and I would tell them "yes" if they ever would ask and then I would tell them that they too should be, at the minimum, acquainting themselves with today's many issues so that when they go to the polls they don't vote AGAIN like THEY did the last few times! I would also like to tell them to shut off my TVs and my laptop UNLESS it's on something educationally inclined!!! I'm sick of the laissez-faire attitude around here.

I'm sick and tired of hearing politicians who for years have TALKED about healthcare and do NOTHING!

I'm tired of the cuts in education............THAT makes no sense.

I'm tired of the ARROGANCE!

There I feel better, run-on sentences and all!!!

16. As an observer, can I add a thought?
The lost time. The lost productive time that this country has spent being nonproductive in the act of paying attention to the maladministration. We've been forced to essentially abandon what we do in an attempt to stay alert to the evil force in our presence. This is what we pay government to do, so that we don't have to spend so much time keeping an eye on them. It's not different than having a friend over, versus having a burgler over. One you don't need to keep an eye on because the chance that they'll rip you off is very low.

This is a subject that almost goes under the radar. Think of the billions that have been lost due to how we are not spending our time.

21. Damn near everything.
I am sick of our children dying in the desert & then getting treated like shit when they get back. Hell I myself have been waiting since May for a consult to the pain management clinic at the VA! They closed the one at My local VA hospital, if you can believe that! The answer currently is have some narcotics, want something stronger? They won't even see people unless they've been shot first, what kind of deal is that? These young people deserve better! Much, much better. No problem for our Congress critters with their top of the line medical care on our dime though.

Speaking of which, they have the gumption (I'm being nice) to question OUR patriotism when they had other priorities or couldn't be bothered to show up? I know how hard it was to get into the Texas National Guard back then from personal experience, but then my Dad wasn't in Congress, either.

I can name a hundred promises made and broken by our own Government, but hell I've cried enough. At least I have a house and a bed. Some people I know don't even have that, so I am damned lucky, through no fault of my own.

I'm pissed off my "leaders" don't care who they kill, maim, extort, blow-up or walk on to make themselves richer and supposedly more powerful. I'm pissed of there are real bad guys out there planning to hurt us and nobody is doing anything serious about it but to look at us and yell, "Boo!" everyday.

the amerikan sheeple for the last 1/4 century, over the death of America.

Maybe it is because I'm among the vanguard of gen-x, so I got a taste of the old America, but have grown up and lived in the new amerika. This means that, unlike those a few years younger, I have personal experience of living in a free society, before the era of the police-state, the mandatory minimums and zero-tolerance.

I remember when tolerance was a hallmark of out nation, instead of an unendurable deviation that must be stomped out at the cost of our soul.

When honest people could disagree over a given issue and, while passionately arguing their respective points, could remain friendly because, after all, we were all Americans and shared the ideal of individual liberty.

When there was enough diversity in our media that, if sought out, differing views could still be found. When the majority of people involved in government were primarily concerned with the welfare of the nation and its citizens, although they had different ideas of how to go about it.

And all this because the sheep are terrified that some mythic boogey-man (most likely with dark skin) was waiting behind the bush to rape them, kill their kids, and take all their stuff away from them. IDIOTS! :grr:
:dunce:

Edit: I left out that the boogey-man is also drug-crazed. :eyes:

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1016720641536424083&q=9%2F11+PRESS+FOR+TRUTH

In it, the president is shown declaring war against the Taliban and he says:

They will hand in their terrorists, or they will share in their fate.

The camera switches to the chamber view as the crowd gives him a standing ovation and then switches back to this:

That, my friends, despite the context of his message, is EVIL PERSONIFIED.

I believe Nostrodamus has his anti-Christ.

46. Amen. Ditto. I'm right there with ya.
I feel every bit as much of the rage and frustration that you are feeling. No president is perfect and there are always things our presidents do that we may not always like or agree with. But this administration has done NOT ONE DAMN THING that I can point to and say, "yeah, well that was pretty good". NOT ONE!! The incompetency and evils of this adminstration are enough to fill a set of encyclopedias.

I'll just add to your rant - that I am SICK AND GOD-DAMNED TIRED OF THE NEARLY 40% OF THE POPULATION WHO ARE TOO STUPID, BLIND OR MIND-MELDED TO SEE WHAT IS HAPPENING RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEIR EYES!!

And I AM SICK AND GOD-DAMNED TIRED OF THE FACT THAT NO ONE HAS HAD THE TEMERITY, FORTITUDE, AND POWER TO DO WHAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE LONG AGO, WHICH IS TO IMPEACH AND PROSECUTE THE BASTARDS FOR WHAT THEY'VE DONE! The fact that we had a NATIONAL SPECTACLE OVER WHAT CLINTON DID, BUT BARELY A BLIP IN THE MEDIA AND NATIONAL CONSCIOUSNESS OVER WHAT THESE PIGS HAVE DONE IS INCOMPREHENSIBLE!!

Thanks for the rant. You have plenty of company.

<Howard Beale from The Network>
I don't have to tell you things are bad. Everybody knows things are bad. It's a depression. Everybody's out of work or scared of losing their job. The dollar buys a nickel's work, banks are going bust, shopkeepers keep a gun under the counter. Punks are running wild in the street and there's nobody anywhere who seems to know what to do, and there's no end to it. We know the air is unfit to breathe and our food is unfit to eat, and we sit watching our TV's while some local newscaster tells us that today we had fifteen homicides and sixty-three violent crimes, as if that's the way it's supposed to be. We know things are bad - worse than bad. They're crazy. It's like everything everywhere is going crazy, so we don't go out anymore. We sit in the house, and slowly the world we are living in is getting smaller, and all we say is, 'Please, at least leave us alone in our living rooms. Let me have my toaster and my TV and my steel-belted radials and I won't say anything. Just leave us alone.' Well, I'm not gonna leave you alone. I want you to get mad! I don't want you to protest. I don't want you to riot - I don't want you to write to your congressman because I wouldn't know what to tell you to write. I don't know what to do about the depression and the inflation and the Russians and the crime in the street. All I know is that first you've got to get mad.

<shouting> You've got to say, 'I'm a HUMAN BEING, Goddamnit! My life has VALUE!' So I want you to get up now. I want all of you to get up out of your chairs. I want you to get up right now and go to the window. Open it, and stick your head out, and yell,

<shouting> 'I'M AS MAD AS HELL, AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!' I want you to get up right now, sit up, go to your windows, open them and stick your head out and yell - 'I'm as mad as hell and I'm not going to take this anymore!' Things have got to change. But first, you've gotta get mad!... You've got to say, 'I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!' Then we'll figure out what to do about the depression and the inflation and the oil crisis. But first get up out of your chairs, open the window, stick your head out, and yell, and say it:

<screaming at the top of his lungs> "I'M AS MAD AS HELL, AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!"

On edit:
