How To Add A Google Bomb In Your Signature

To add a Google Bomb in your signature:

* Find the link you want to use for your bomb and decide on the text for the link.

* Add something like the following somewhere in your sig line, but change the parentheses to square brackets to enable the HTML:
(link:www.truthout.org/docs_2006/083006J.shtml | The Path to 9/11)

You can use any link you want - this is the link I am referencing. Another good one is:

(link:http://www.cnn.com/US/9607/30/clinton.terrorism | The Path to 9/11)

* If you want it on a separate line, add a (br) before it or after it; again, changing the parentheses to square brackets.

* See the HTML Lookup table within Message options in any new post or reply for details if you are confused.

chances that your selection will show up on the first page. Few people select the "Lucky" choice, unless someone tells them to do it (usually as a result of an obvious "Google Bomb"). However, people tend to pay attention to the First Page results, and seldom click on "next page" unless they are looking for something in particular.

from one "old" one to another. I had a hard time with this also.

hightlight one of the OP's suggested link, right click and choose "copy." The first one is truthout and the second one is a very good CNN article with pictures of Clinton that discusses his effort to work on terrorism.

click on "options" at the top of the page.

click on "edit your profile."

scroll down to the "signature" option. With you pointer in the blank, right clikc and choose "paste."

Change the ( to a < at the beginning and the ) to a > at the end.

Then click on "update" at the right hand bottom of the page.

...that's how it works. So when people Google search "The Path to 9/11", they get back your link (assuming many people have done the same thing as you :-)

Other than changing "9/11" to "The Path to 9/11", it works great!
