Lamont Criticizes Lieberman For Criticizing Clinton (Right On!)
Quote of the Day

"You don’t go to the floor of the Senate and turn this into a media spectacle. You go up there, you sit down with one of your oldest friends and say, 'You’re embarrassing yourself, you’re embarrassing your presidency, you’re embarrassing your family, and it’s got to stop.'"

-- Ned Lamont (D), quoted by the New York Times, criticizing Sen. Joe Lieberman's (I-CT) denunciation of President Clinton over the Monica Lewinsky scandal.

1. Holy Joe wouldn't get any mileage that way. Holy Joe is all about mileage
for Holy Joe. Period.

2. What a worthless ass Lamont is
How come he's not out criticizing Russ Feingold who did more to undermine Clinton during the impeachment than any other Democrat?
And, unlike Lieberman, Feingold actually was consdiering convicting Clinton.

Why isn't he criticizing the other Democrats like Paul Wellstone, Bob Kerrey, and Daniel Patrck Moynihan who stood up on the Senate floor to agree with Lieberman?

By the way, Lieberman told Clinton he was going to do it; I think the only thing Clinton really objected to was that he did it while Clinton was out of the country and Clinton thought it would be a distraction from what he was trying to do overseas.

More importantly, why is he bringing up ancient history?
