If you were given free access to TV air time, like our Chimperor is going to get, what would you say? Here's your chance, you just aren't allowed the face-time.

So..........if you want to participate, I will post a thread at 9:00 EDT, September 11 entitled "My Fellow Americans" and you can post what you would say to the American people if you were given 18 minutes of free air-time on all major networks and cable news. Come on DU, I know there are some brilliant minds out there that could inspire the world and I have given you 4 days to gather your thoughts. Exceed my expectations.

On the topic of brainwashing. My friend who taught fifth grade had a student who had been molested by her father. The mother wrote a little book about the incident and read it to her daughter every night. I just could not get my arms around why a mother would do that. Now we live with a government who does the exact same thing. Remind us of our weakest moment and try to keep us in the fog of despair. It is so hard to be strong these days.
