1. No way in hell will the Great Conservative Revolution of 2000

will be allowed to be defeated. I don't see it happening. We will see fraud on a scale like we could never even imagine. Entirely too many corporations and individuals, including the defense industry above all have entirely too much too lose. The GOP retains control of the House and maybe even increases its margin.

2. I think it's totally possible.

Taking the House will slow down the wreckage, certainly. But we'll need to take the Presidency and the Senate in 2008 to turn this ship around.
