Why The F@ck Don't Democrats Respond In Kind?
Don't you wish our party would come up with the handy bash the opposition
shit the GOP does? That LCD kind of crap that is easily understood and gets
passed on beside the watercoolers of our great workaday unconscious?

Here's three I'd be throwing in their fat lying faces daily:

- Bush slept and 3,000 died. Bush's vacation rate during his first 9 months
in office was 42%. Al Qaeda flew those jets straight into a power vacuum.

- 5 years after 9-11 Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda are still at large and still
killing Americans.
This despite the spending of half a trillion dollars and
squandering the lives of 2,700 of our military. Bush the essential man in the
war on terror? He's a fucking joke.

- Bush started a war and doesn't know how to win it. He's making Dick
Nixon's Viet Nam debacle look like a work of military genius.

You have any?

1. Those all sound like what I've heard many Dem candidates this year
campaign on. Although, you have to go directly to their speeches or to their press releases to hear/read that. Big media ignores a great deal of the best stuff that Dems say.

But, they're so educated and civilized they can't seem to lower themselves. Those guys play in the mud.

5. their efforts are never good enough for some
all of these you list are being actively and aggressively vocalized by Democrats. You are late with these. They aren't new. I've been posting good responses to these issues from Democrats for months as most have been reported widely, others got amplification from me and others who commit themselves to that effort.

It's bullshit that they haven't been responding in kind. They are surpassing that. That's why they are so competitive in key races and poised to take overat least the House, and possibly the Senate. That didn't happen in a vacuum. The Democrats deserve credit as well for their blistering assaults and quick responses to the White House campaign or fear and smear.

They deserve credit and support; not backbiting criticism that ignores our party's efforts and success so far.

18. No, really. I am grateful for your concern
You are obviously an advanced and sophisticated person who sees things much
more clearly than others. That is why we are so dependent upon you for vision
and a correct approach to the problems that so bedevil us.

10. you picked a release that wasn't at all related to the Democrats
here are the ones from today on the page that you ignored. Not all with vitriol, but more than the portrait you want to paint of a complacent party unwilling to respond. If any one wants to see the other daily releases from our party in opposition to the republicans, there is an archive accessible at the bottom of the page: http://releases.usnewswire.com/default.asp

13. Its very simple.
They dont need to.

The Thuglicans want strawmen to topple for these elections. They are just WAITING for a Dem to mention impeachment, say something that can be taken out of context by the MSM, etc....

Its no way to win elections, unless you are the party in power, and have a direct line to the MSM

17. Gotta have "reputable" media to spread it.. We don't have that
Edited on Thu Sep-07-06 10:44 PM by SoCalDem
one, most important thing..

Whenever we get our backs up about some injustice, we are at the mercy of people who are not on our side, in the least..

they report about OUR complaints, but never about what we are complaining ABOUT..

WE become the story..

That's exactly how Buch became president..

No media questioned his integrity..but evey one of them dissed Gore for every little thing..

Framing the issue is the MOST important thing, and without a truly unafiliated media can issues be discussed on their own merit, without slant..

The right wing has elevated so many rabid, right wing pundits to "legitimacy", it makes my brain hurt.. Does anyone really think that Glenn beck, or Monican Crowley, or Imus, or any number of "regulars" on tv (and radio) do NOT have an agenda?

Think about it.. if YOU had your own TV spot or radio show, would YOU give a fair and dispassionate report about a Bush policy? Could you?

This is what's so wrong with media today.. Partisans are running everything, and unfortunately for us, it's THEIR partisans with a strangle-hold on public discourse.

Of course, they cleverly named it "liberal media", so when they indict us, they can claim they are only doing it as balance..:puke:

a perfect set up...but not for us :(
