NYT review of PT9/11
Sorry, it's from Drudge, but here's an excerpt:

"'The Path to 9/11' is not a documentary, or even a docu-drama; it is a fictionalized account of what took place. It relies on the report of the Sept. 11 commission, the King James version of all Sept. 11 accounts, as well as other material and memoirs. Some scenes come straight from the writers' imaginations," writes Alessandra .

"Dramatic license was certainly taken, but blame is spread pretty evenly across the board. It's not the inaccuracies of 'The Path to 9/11' that make ABC's miniseries so upsetting. It's the situation on the ground in Afghanistan now."

Alessandra concludes: "Hindsight is heartbreaking and disturbing to watch, even in a made-for-television movie. But it's even harder to take when those steps continue to contaminate the present."

1. This is a narrative. Opinions should count in a f***ing review.

I won't give grudge the click. I can already tell that the lone tepid criticism is hidden in the second to last paragraph. MKJ

6. Why is blame necessary?
Why not a a fantasy movie about how to Make it Better? No, can't have that can we? Terra, Terra, Terra!

4. what a stupid, vapid review
Save your time and I'll sum it up for you:

The first World Trade Center attack happened on Clinton's watch, so it's Clinton's fault.
The 2001 attach happened on Bush's watch, so it's Clinton fault.

oh, and the 9-11 Commission found that Clinton was distracted by Monica Lewinsky.

What a load of crap.

7. WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS BULLSHIT???!!!

In 2001 President Bush and his newly appointed aides had ample warning, including a briefing paper titled “Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S.,” and they failed to take it seriously enough, but their missteps are not equal. It’s like focusing blame for a school shooting at the beginning of the school year on the student’s new home room teacher; the adults who watched the boy torment classmates and poison small animals knew better. (It’s safe to assume that any future mini-series about American foreign policy will not delve flatteringly into Mr. Bush’s march to war in Iraq.)

Yes, attacks happened under the Clinton administration. And Clinton provided the data, the research and the current course of plan to the Bush Administration when Bush took over the White House, he (bush) tossed it in the garbage can. The analogy that NYTimes should have used was that the school had been aware of the troubled kid who had shown destructive behavior throughout the school year and gave that report to the new school teacher who started at the end of the year. And the new teach ignore the report, threw it away and went on vacation
