Great turnout for Lamont volunteers in New Haven!
A packed room. The program had to be shortened because it was hot and close with so many people packed in such a small space.

I saw many faces I had seen when we were calling before the primary. Campaign HQ in New Haven is not that big and when we were calling it was close and noisy.

I'll be back again in the General calling Republicans in the afternoons weekdays. I plan to give them a run for their money as the saying goes. Since I can volunteer on weekday afternoons, they generally give me a list of seniors to call, which is OK because I am a senior!

Hope is up and strong at Lamont HQ in New Haven, CT! Have courage, America. Some of us are trying hard to bring change to our country with Ned Lamont!

4. A Rasmussen poll had Lamont running 10 pts behind LIEberman
recently, but that was before Labor Day. I'm waiting for the Quinnipiac poll but I'm not going to let these polls early in the General get me down.

Given all the voters in the state of CT, Lamont's volunteers have some 20,000 calls to make between now and Election Day. They're asking us to commit to a regular schedule, which for me will be weekday afternoons. I found that engaging voters on the phone can really pay off. The trick is to get folks on the phone to begin with.
