I can't watch anything that revisits 9/11
It's just too hard to watch. I cried and cursed on that day. From the moment they showed the aftermath of the first plane I was surprised, but then when I saw the second one, I went into shock and my heart tore in half when those towers fells. When the Pentagon was hit, the emotions began hitting.

As the day passed into the night loved ones were holding up pictures of those lost to them. I never cried so hard in my life. Anger was taking over and I wanted nothing more than to see those responsible taken out in as brutal of a manner. If I had still been in the military I would have asked...no begged to be sent there.

Five years have passed and the impact of that day still remains. I've considered seeing the movies made and still have yet to watch any documentary of that day. I honestly can't. It hurts too much and the anger is still intense. Much of the fury is directed at the Bush Administration for their incompetence, uncaring and manipulation.

It's too hard.

1. That's why the movies about 9/11, such as "World Trade Center," have
not been big at the box office.

2. I haven't either.
It's like it was last week. I lost neighbors who were NYC firefighters, families left without a dad forever. I hate the way this administration is so political about it, it's so disrespectful. And now more and more people are sick from the aftermath, like it isn't ever over.

4. We didn't know anyone connected with that day...
It's like a trauma that doesn't heal. When I think about it, the bush administration doesn't want it to heal. They keep pulling on the scab, making it bleed more and more.

3. I'm With You
Anything that talks about 9/11, I automatically boycott. People are just making this stuff to exploit it. It's sickening, and it's too soon.

6. I watched the 9/11 documentary
that was done by the French guys who started out just doing a documentary about NYC firefighters. They just happened to be filming on 9/11 and caught one of the planes going into the towers. They followed the fire fighters that day. It was an incredibly moving and powerful film.

There was no politics in the film. It was a true account of what people went through that day.

That's the film they should be showing in schools. Not some made up tripe to agitate people in an election year. We all deserve better than the crap that PT 9/11 is.
