$2.39 per gal. and falling
Two months of falling gas prices and the lemmings citizens will think *bush & Cabal are Gods.

They are REALLY desperate to give that much money away so quickly...

THE GOP will raise the candle stick higher after the election, ie raise gas prices after the election.

2. They gained a shitload of money through windfall income
I think Exxon-Mobil posted Corporate America's largest net income in one quarter in history, so you can bet it and others probably have money to burn by cutting gas prices.

9. I'm in Dallas- not all that far (physically) from you
The price is fairly consistent, with minor variations, across the Metroplex, at any rate. I've been in Rowlett, Garland, Plano, and Richardson today.

8. Clearly, It Is Being Manipulated To Help Bush
----- It's down to $2.47 here, (Va east coast).. which represents a 59-cent drop in the same time period that the price of oil has gone down by $3-$4 per barrel,.. That translates into a $25-per-barrel offset at the pump. The numbers do not add up. This is Big Oil-GOP collusion at its most obvious, I would say. I don't mind the lower prices, mind you,... but the issues of both earlier price-gouging AND/OR current collusion are more troubling than the price of gasoline.

11. Now just one second.
When the BP pipeline in Alaska went bust, gas prices were supposed to go to $5.00/gal. You guys and gals will just have to have a little patience.:sarcasm:

On the other hand, expect gas prices to go to .99/gal. on Nov. 6.

And that, my friends is the long awaited October surprise.

21. Something fishy going on
Ohio currently has the lowest prices across the board.

http://www.toledogasprices.com/Price_By_County.aspx?state=OH&c=usa

It's currently expected that the state is going to swing left in the next election.

Hmm...

22. No doubt Big Oil's contribution to the campaign
The prices will fall right up until early November, and I'll put money on the prices going up beginning in the second week of November and rising again to the $3 level pretty damn quickly.

24. Falling gas prices, 9/11 RW propaganda piece, Flight 93 rushed to DVD.
NOTHING...NOTHING will help the BFEE. Not this time out. Well, rigged elections BUT something tells me 'not this time'. Could be they actually have to risk their balls on the chopping block. This time. Not so sure about 2008.

All the carrot and stick baiting did work, three years ago. Right now history is repeating itself. This is the end of the Vietnam War remix. People are not just pissed at the BFEE, they are pissed at ALL career politicians, IMO.

Get ready...

either way, I believe we can expect the gas prices to spike right back up there after the election, regardless if GOP loses both house & senate or not...!
