How will the Democrats overcome the chimpenfuhrer's veto?

If the Democrats take over both the House and Senate most likely we will not have 66 percent of the House and Senate members.

How will Democrats pass a progressive agenda if the chimpenfuhrer vetoes what the Democrats pass?

I have your answer at http://www.dmocrats.org

"The REPUBLICAN Party appears weak and vulnerable at the cash registers of those companies that give them money."

Jesse Jackson would boycott companies in order to get concessions from them. We should boycott GOP contributors and force them to go to the GOP and get concessions from THEM.

If Gandhi appeared alive today I would hope he would do something like this.

1. Mmm, sweet, sweet gridlock.
I haven't tasted gridlock in six years. It'll be wonderful to see it again...

2. You mean while 6 million people earn $5.15 an hour and can't pay bills

and people suffer under that mean spirited welfare law and some seniors die because of the Medicare part D program that pays on average 20 percent while they have to pay 80 percent medical costs which includes the coverage gap where they may have to stop buying medications?

Ah sweet sweet gridlock for you. Death and hardship for millions. Sleep well at night.

5. Compared to current Republihell, gridlock is bliss.

Realistically, Bush will veto all of the above. We'll need a 2/3 majority to get a minimum wage boost, fix the Medicare donut hole or solve any of the other millions of problems Bush and the Repubs have caused.

But gridlock's better than the current agenda, which includes bills to exempt Bush from war crimes prosecution, undo the FISA Act and give Bush unlimited warrantless surveillance powers, and billions of dollars of graft for Halliburton & other companies.

7. I'm sorry but I disagree.

Gridlock does nothing for suffering people less fortunate than you.

I come to this forum to help the less fortunate, not to help myself.

Gridlock will prove deadly for some people and extremely hard for others.

3. Let him veto left and right
It sets the stage for 08 and meanwhile the investigations with the subpoenas shred him to bits.

4. While people suffer in the manner I described.

You see elections and process and I see people suffering. What will you do about the suffering?

Why do people have to wait years to end their hardships when you can punish GOP contributors every day?

6. Nothing we can do about the reality
of whether the leftover survivors of the gop side are shamed enough to get a conscience.

It is critical we keep forcing them to deal with the pressure. We have to take what we can get by controlling the agenda again. It's a lose lose for the republicans if they block a veto override.

The constituents will burn up their phones.

8. We can hit GOP contributors in their accounts receivables.
and force them to go to the GOP and get the legislation the less fortunate need.
