ABC spent many millions of dollars shooting a miniseries.
Don't be surprised if they decide to run it. We will have to cost them well above the price of the shooting, the loss of advertising on that day, and the loss of credibility by admitting that the piece needs to be pulled. We'll have to cost them all the residuals they'll receive from Scholastic and all the money they'll make on the bad end through video sales.

The majority of Americans will not "get" why they aren't supposed to shop at Disney or eat at Wendy's anymore, even if they do "get" why they should ban ABC.

My suggestion would be a targeted committed campaign against ABC and to choose ONE vulnerable company advertising with ABC to target and destroy with a massive boycott. Taking down ONE PRODUCT or BRAND NAME will scare the piss out of the others. We can't knock down every broadcaster with ABC. Activists will fatigue if we ask them to boycott: Disney, Wendys, McDonalds, Budweiser, Heinekin, Coke, Pepsi, etc.

If we can take down ONE with force, it will be better than giving 20 a paper cut.

1. I don't understand the finances of this. Apparently there aren't
commercials. Who knows how they financed this thing?

7. nobody knows.
A company called UPH Productions LLd produced it. Funny thing is all info for UPH productions appears to have been scrubbed from internet. the other thing I found odd was that this program was titled Untitled history project before it was renamed The Path to 911. From what I could find out, this is the only film this company has made. If anyone knows a way to get info on thsi company, please let me know.

2. Okay, but I'm not fatigued and refuse to do business with lots of
companies, local ones as well as the huge corps.

I may have to see if I can find an old Mickey Mouse and hang it by the ankles from my front porch, though.

5. No, I think that personally boycotting many is a great idea, of course.
But I think that we should ORGANIZE to boycott only one. Disney would be the best bet. With fundies boycotting for gay days and pro-gay democrats boycotting for Path to 9-11, there will be significant pressure on them.
