MSNBC Breaking: ABC to release statement on 9/11 movie

No details about what that statement will be, but according to MSNBC news, it will be released momentarily.

Edit: As of 1:28 pm ET, MSNBC reports that they are still waiting for the statement. I'll update this thread when it emerges.

STATEMENT: The path to 9/11 is not a documentary. It is a docudrama drawn from a variety of sources. As such, for dramatic and narrative purposes, the movie contains fictionalized scenes and time compression. Nobody has seen the final version of the film, so criticism of the film is premature and irresponsible.
