4. Clay is a Democrat.
Clay Aiken has done so much for people with disabilities. He has the Bubel Aiken foundation for children with autism. He is a good will ambassador for unicef and has traveled all over the world to help children. I do not know Clay personally but know people who have worked with him on various projects, he is sincere and a very good person. I do not care one way or another what his sexual preference is but I do enjoy his singing. I think Bush is using him for his popularity. His third album is coming out Sept 19th and watch it will be # 1 again, he has a huge fan base.

5. I learned a new word on freerepublic!
Catamite: a boy used for homosexual purposes. I hope to never have to use it, but how often can you say you learned something on FR?

7. this could be how to beat GOP: have flamingest gays publicly support them
Nathan Lane

Harvey Fierstein

The blonde guy from QUEER EYE

One of those boy bands

They could say the republican party is just scrumptious, and if someone asks about their gay-bashing, they could just laugh and say, "They are so adorable when they put on that campy klan act! You should see them when they do Liza! It's to die for."

8. Can that committee help * with his own Intellectual Disability?
i'm not sure how Aiken serving on that makes him a republican. William Cohen was Clinton's sec. of defense, did that make him a democrat?
