3 things keep Democrats from winning: The media, the media, and the media

As the ABC "docudrama" plainly shows, no matter how much "balance" the media gives siding with the Democrats during any given year, when it comes right down to the few months before any election, the conservative manipulation always begins.

It's usually 2-3 months before when it starts. Terror alerts. Talking points. Lies. Once the repukes take power again, the media goes back to its regular "balanced" self and denies any accusation of conservative bias.

I can point to hundreds of things shown in the media that one would call a "liberal" slant. (Also known as: The truth), but only during a year where there is no election. Only when it doesn't really matter to the repugs because they know people have short memories. It also gives the conservatives an opportunity to accuse the media of being liberal.

People aren't stupid, exactly. They're easily influenced by CURRENT events. The closer the story, the more influence. It's the reason polls show approval ratings go up and down so quickly. The closer the lie is to the election, the easier it is to change a mind.

Until something is done about the obvious control conservatives have over the media, liberals will never be able to gain a solid foothold. The internet has changed things slightly, but as we all know, they've been trying to take control of the internet, too.

It's problem #1, as far as I'm concerned. THE MEDIA. They're to blame for everything.
