Nothing is as fearful to politicians as the threat of defeat. They do not hesitate to use fear and paranoia for political advantage. Even your toothpaste can become a threat to national security, the closer we get to election day.

Yes, we should always be vigilant and on guard to protect our country but we should not make decisions out of fear or trepidation. We should distance ourselves from those folks that see enemies everywhere and threats everywhere, even in toothpaste. That is insanity.
