Tinfoil time: Is Kean trying to help his son's race with the ABC movie?
Tom Kean Sr. has the image of a "respectable figure" who presided over the 9/11 Commission, and is lauded by NJ voters as being "above the corruption and fray" in their state.
He's smart enough to know that this "docu-drama" is a load of horseshit. Yet he promotes it and says it's "reasonably accurate" even though it contradicts his own commission!

Why would such as respectable man do this? Well, his son, Tom Kean Jr., is running for New Jersey's Senate seat against Bob Menendez. Between panderin...er calling for Rumseld to resign, and ducking out of a NJ fundraiser when Cheney showed up, Kean is desperate to craft an image of himself as a faux moderate. I figure that Kean Sr. wants to help Jr.

1. Expose him...
..get the word out as best you can about Kean Sr. supporting the blatant lies of this mockudrama... expose him as a co-chair of the 911 commission deliberately abusing the public trust and misleading people about the very commission he was part of. how can he say this farce is accurate when he knows full well the contents of the 911 commission report clearly contradicts almost every act in this stupid play? he must really think americans and his former constituents and potential voters for his son are really, really stupid to fall for this crap...

NJ voters need to see past the facade of the "respectable figure" and see the truth for what it is...

2. We need to pull a Rove
And attack the Kean family's STRENGTHS. Kean Sr. is a liar on this one, but unfortunately I don't see Menendez criticizing the 9/11 Commission itself. But going after Kean Sr. over the ABC mockudrama could help put a dent in Jr.'s poll numbers. He should also run a "father-son" ad talking about how NJ didn't trust the lightweight of a former President to be President, and neither should the same thing be done for Senate.

3. I came to the same conclusion. And watch Tweety's moves, too. He needs to
get Bush's numbers up to better help his brother running as a GOP in Pennsylvania.

Kean sold his soul thru his many sins of OMISSION re9-11 report.

5. If we take back the House this November
Then we should do a new investigation into 9/11 and supeona HIM and point out the failures of the 9/11 Commission Report.

4. Who knows....Kean is a toad...he was governor of NJ when I lived there
and he was always "removed" from average NJersians and thought he was "entitled" as does Bush. I guess he's trying to start a family dynasty.
