We never hear about Cheney's responsibility for 9/11 or Katrina

Recall that in May 2001 Bush appointed Cheney to head a terrorism task force within FEMA, creating a new office there especially for Cheney.

Why isn't the ABC 9/11 program about Cheney's involvement, or lack thereof, during that day, since as VP he was responsible for keeping America safe against a terrorist attack? He not only didn't keep Americans safe then, but shortly thereafter the anthrax terrorist struck, killing more Americans. None of the perpetrators have been caught. Where was/is Cheney, and why hasn't he been fired from his responsibilities as the FEMA terrorist task force manager, as he certainly should have been when he couldn't even keep America prepared and safe from a natural disaster? How many chances does he get? Not even his friends are safe around him, especially when he's "loaded."

During the Iran Contra hearings we learned that Cheney was involved in illegal eavesdropping and plans with Donald Rumsfeld to imprison Americans, a program known as "The Continuity of Government," which would have suspended the Constitution "for any national emergency." Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld have resuscitated that program with their admitted illegal eavesdropping of Americans. Where's the report, ABC, that this unconstitutional program is BAAAAAACK, c/o the same people who stoked it during Reagan's presidency?

In this piece, "Cheney-Rumsfeld Surveillance Plans Date Back to 1980s,"

Many actions of the Bush presidency resemble not only what Nixon did in the 1970s, but what Cheney and Rumsfeld had planned to restore under COG in the 1980s in the case of an attack. Prominent among these have been the detention of so-called "enemy combatants," including U.S. citizens, and placing them in special camps. Now as before, a policy of detentions outside the Constitution has been accompanied by a program of extra-constitutional surveillance to determine who will be detained.

Those special camps are being built by Halliburton today, ABC.

The contract, which is effective immediately, provides for establishing temporary detention and processing capabilities to augment existing ICE Detention and Removal Operations (DRO) Program facilities in the event of an emergency influx of immigrants into the U.S., or to support the rapid development of new programs.

Where is your report on this Constitutional crisis, ABC?
