here's the competition for ABC on Sunday night

NBC - premiere of Sunday Night Football - Colts at NY Giants 8:30pm est
with special pre-game show starting at 7:00pm.

FOX - "The Simpsons" season premiere. "The Mook, The Chef, The Wife and Her Homer"
Lisa makes friends with Fat Tony's son Michael and the Simpsons are invited to
dinner by Fat Tony. Michael says he wants to be a chef rather than take over
the family business. But, that's before Fat Tony is shot ny a rival.

CBS - 9/11 Robert De Niro hosts a documentary that contains footage of the FDNY's
rescue efforts at the WTC on Sept. 11, 2001.


ABC has some serious competition on Sunday. NYers will be watching the Giants.
I'll be watching "The Simpsons" and then football or CBS's 9/11.

I know what I'll be watching, and it sure isn't that trainwreck of a movie. I hope New Yorkers boycott it and write some strongly-worded letters.
In general, I think the movies about that day are horrendous. Why on earth would anyone want to relive 9/11 over and over again.

even though I'd rather watch corn grow than watch a football game. But I'm married...and mr liberty loves his football. I do like the Manning brothers though, so I may pay a little bit of attention to the game!

Does any person in this country need more info about 911? Was anyone asleep through it? And frankly, the reports lately about the cavalier way first responders were treated (more than half have lung problems today, and there are signs that cancer may be showing up soon) make it rather a difficult subject to turn into a jingoistic piece of crap, which this movie appears to be.
