IRAQ: U.S. Losing Control Fast
The U.S. military has lost control over the volatile al-Anbar province, Iraqi police and residents say.

The area to the west of Baghdad includes Fallujah, Ramadi and other towns that have seen the worst of military occupation, and the strongest resistance.

Despite massive military operations which destroyed most of Fallujah and much of cities like Haditha and al-Qa'im in Ramadi, real control of the city now seems to be in the hands of local resistance.

In losing control of this province, the U.S. would have lost control over much of Iraq.

1. It's going to hell fast there, it would seem

Apparently, we're 'liberating' the Iraqis by destroying the people and cities. :-(

5. Why don't they ever report the GOOD NEWS!
There are three whole neighborhoods in Baghdad that are secure, and they will be as long as our troops have them locked down! Why not report that?

6. So the depleted uranium and the white phosphorus didn't
get the war criminals anywhere? What irony, to sell your souls to the devil and in the end there's not even a temporary pay off.

That would surely turn things around.

10. Bush will never see the Hague
Unless he makes a state visit there as president.

No matter how bad things get, the U.S. won't hand him and his evil collaborators over to a non-U.S. court. He'll probably never even face a U.S. court.

Depressing to think so, but there it is.

12. It's a white knuckle plane ride just to land in Baghdad,
Edited on Wed Sep-06-06 10:37 AM by Justice Is Comin
they have to dive bomb from 35,000 feet like something out of a cartoon to avoid shoulder launched missiles. It makes almost everybody throw up. Then it's lumps in your throat all the way from the airport to the green zone along Baghdad Highway.

Then it's 792 attacks per week right now in Baghdad per the defense department.

Losing control?? Hah ha ha hah hah ha hahaha ha ahah ha ha ha ha. And this for good measure

13. Haven't we been expecting these reports ... ???
With military forces being shifted to stabilize Baghdad, I've been waiting to hear of mounting chaos outside the city. Poor frickin' soldiers. This Admin deserves a most attentive master in hell.

14. Choppers off the Green Zone roof, baby.
Absolutely.

It's the only thing that will bring the war criminals political defeat (I don't foresee justice for their crimes).

And, at the same time, wake some of our extremely stupid countrymen/women up and force them to question the lies they swallowed.
