Alaskans Fight Cyanide Use In Mining Operation
Nome Nugget Editorial – August 31st

“The use of cyanide in mining should be outlawed in Alaska. Other mining states have made its use illegal and so should we.

People should not have to live with the threat of a cyanide accident. Our personal and environmental health should not be put at stake for a few bucks and the risk of a technically unsound and scientifically flawed procedure”
