I think that we need to boycott ABC and Disney to a greater effect than when was Sinclair boycotted back in 2004.

1. "Stolen Honor" was presented as a documentary. This is not. This has
the possibility of reaching more people, but I have a feeling the viewership will be LOW.

4. With the NFL back, you're probably right about the ratings
Manning vs. Manning Sunday Night (I'll be there! :bounce:) on NBC.

Monday is a double header with the Vikes and Skins as the early game(4pm EST) and Chargers vs. Raiders as the late one.

6. this is being presented as a documentary, too
calling it "docudrama" and encouraging teachers to use it as a teaching material in schools.

7. The problem with these "re-enactments" is they are deathly boring
The Cuban missile crisis may have been high drama where the fate of the world hung in balance, but listening to the minutes of meetings where the policies were hammered out is as boring as watching hangnails grow.

This is what made the HBO 9/11 piece so boring. No one's impressed. No one wants more official lies. And we have all seen the real footage live. Bush did nothing extraordinary on 9/11 other than scamper like a frightened rabbit down a hidey hole. He did nothing in the months before 9/11 to respond to the threat either.

Look at the action scenes featuring Bush, for example. RAMBO he's not. A strong leader, he's not. A takecharge guy, he's not. A warrior? Commander-in-chief? Don't make me laugh. And that's why this movie will flop. They are trying to make a superhero out of a chickenhawk. They are seeking to turn 9/11 into a legendary moment when Bush's greatness emerged. A whitewash with chicken manure.

And all the while, we can find the factual record of events online at the click of a mouse.

Bush skims FBI’s warning of terror threats to the US while on vacation, August 6, 2001

Bush calls for a copy of "My Pet Goat" from Booker Elementary School, Sept 11, 2001

Air Force One Under Attack

Bush proves the emperor has clothes

White House Aides try to convince Bush to quit circling aimlessly in Air Force One and return to Washington DC

Bush calls Rudy and tells him he plans to go to war against Iraq, as soon as he gets someone to "gin" the evidence, September 12

8. Have you seen 13 days about the Cuban Missile Crisis?
Interesting for any historical or political minded person but boring as hell if you don't count laughing at Costner's abysmal Boston accent.
