Would it be any different if this country became a corporation?
Shareholders - Bush Pioneers
Board of Directors - Bush Family
Assistants to CEO - Bush Cabinet
CEO - Bush

Oh wait, it's not any different at all!

1. We live in a Corpocracy
Corporations have been given all the rights but none of the responsibilities of persons.

Corporations control much of the money and economy.

Corporations have a large say in how the government is run and what it does.

The people are down in the list.

6. Only indirectly
Edited on Tue Sep-05-06 03:07 PM by TechBear_Seattle
The definition of fascism, as defined originally by the Fascist Party in Italy, is more along the lines of "The individual is meaningless; the State is everything."

The word "fascism" is derived from the Latin word fasces, a bundle of sticks used in the Roman Republic and latter Empire to represent the strength of the people. The symbolism was basically that a single twig could easily be broken while a lot of twigs, bound together by common threads, was much more durable.

The indirect link comes from the way corporations have long made use of fascist government structures to further their own power, and the similarities between how a fascist government views its people and the way a corporation views its employees.

3. Unintentionally (?) funny!
Kopros is Greek for excrement. A Coprocracy is, therefore, Greek for "government by excrement."

And I will certainly agree, that's what we have in this country.

4. Not the Bush Family. It is the Carlyle Group
Notice that almost all the privatization going on in the world has the Carlyle Group's fingers all over it.

9. Bush sat on the Board of 5???? businesses. They all went bankrupt. So, n
now he is doing for us what he did for them. A business that has fools for Board members - goes broke. Ditto for the USA. I honestly believe we have passed a point-of-no-return.
