Yeah it's been almost a week - but for the Malloys, the reality is probably just hitting about now.

It will start to slip away for them this week. Let's keep their spirits high because here is the reality:
They will see that it costs at least $ 1,000 a month to have insurance under Cobra (The insurance available to the newly fired)

They will see that it's hard to sleep at night. They will wonder about that college fund for Molly that they were about to start. Mike will wonder if he lacks the magic - and that above all else is a crying F**king Awful shame - because of him I could live my life and stop ranting all day long because I knew that Mike would do it for me several hours each night. Plus he made me laugh, and every single time he said "Truthseekr" my resonated with good feelings) Kathy will go slightly bonkers becuse she was a pro at her job and now what will she do that is as important as the work she ws doing on Mike's show?

Air America fired Mike Malloy today. I was concerned when Thom Hartmann mentioned that he might have to fill in for Mike, who was filling in for Randi Rhodes.

MIKE MALLOY FIRED BY AIR AMERICA RADIO
There will be no Mike Malloy program today - or any day - on Air America Radio as we have been terminated. We are told its a financial decision.
We are as shocked as you are, especially since as recently as last Tuesday we were told we had the go-ahead to announce our return to NY airwaves and that our contract was "on the way."
