just had this done three weeks ago, they also scraped his bone because he had some arthritis--of course, he's a soldier who has been in Afghanistan. It's very painful--J is a nice guy, I care and feel for him--but not for Remsfeld!!!! I could care less if he's having surgery-maybe while he's away less people will die!!!! 42. I had surgery on May 10 for a torn rotator cuff.
Edited on Tue Sep-05-06 01:08 PM by Janice325
It was a complete tear in my right shoulder. I'd been hurting since December, getting progressively worse, like someone stabbing me in the shoulder with a knife. I'd move my shoulder wrong, it would hurt like hell and I couldn't stop the "OH, FUCK" that would come out of my mouth.
It was a bitch.
Since the surgery and many visits to the physical therapist, it's still sore but the soreness and stiffness is slowly going away, my range of motion has improved, and the strengh is getting slowly better.
I'd be a happy camper if Rummy has at least THREE TIMES the pain and trouble with it that I did.
Hey, are they gonna replace him with Joementum if Rummy has to step down?

LOL! Kinda reminds me of the one injury my son experienced in high school when he was part of the football team. He didn't get it playing foot ball, but on the way to the field, a band member dropped the bass on his foot and laid him up for the rest of the season. My daughter used to tease him about his "band injury." Actually, she still does. I heard her teasing him about approaching 30 recently and she asked him if his band injury bothers him when the weather changes.

65. That was MEAN! I saw the headline, and automatically let out
a LOUD WOO HOO!!! and "Rummy's been hospitalized!!!" burst out of my lips before I read further. "What happened?" asked one of my (conservative) co-workers, which had me responding, "Who knows? Who cares? Maybe now we'll get someone COMPETENT in there instead."

Unfortunately, I had to retract my joy when I found out it was elective, and not serious enough to get him *OUT* of there.

That type of politics probably didn't belong at work. Sigh. But, as I followed up when Mr. Conservative said, "I here he's doing a good job," (to which I pointed out that NO HE'S NOT), and "he's a very powerful man," I replied: "For now. But we all have to meet our maker sometime."

93. Excuse
This will be the excuse for him to resign. He is too arrogant to quit and Bush doesn't have the balls to fire him.

Remember the election is in 2 months and this will be the September surprise. Hopefully the October surprise will be that Bush and Cheney quit.

98. Is it possible that he's going in for something else?
and that they are just saying shoulder surgery for PR reasons? The timing seems strange to me.

On the other hand it could be a shoulder injury like some other people
