Here's how i know this orange terra shit is a fuckin joke
George and skeletor want me to believe that all the muthafuckas I see wheeling luggage around the airport right now don't have a tube of toothpaste with them.

Please. I'm past security and every one has luggage luggage not briefcases or small totes. These people have straight up luggage and I'm supposed to believe they didn't pack a tube?

There are gels and liquids goin on these planes. George and skeletor know it, I know it and they know we know that they know we know.

fuckers. I hate boosh, cheney, rumsfeld, condi, skeletor, DHS, TSA all of it and them for using terror as a political tool.

I hate the fuckers!

1. My husband brought a 16 oz. can of Monster onto the plane.
Luckily, the security people confiscated his deodorant, toothpaste, and water. :eyes:

Airport security is nothing more than a crap shoot.

3. Oh please
This stuff isn't allowed in carry-on. What they've never said is no one stops it going into luggage. They check carry-on, but only one out of ten bags that go in the cargo hold is actually screened -- at best.

I've been raging about this since it happened. They're still selling it like they're making passengers safer but what they're selling is BS!!

4. I thought it was allowed in checked baggage
You know, because when it's in the baggage hold you can't mix your toothpaste and makeup together to make a bomb, so everyone is safe on the plane. Of course, You could mix your bottled water and shampoo in the departure or arrival airport and kill thousands of people that way.

18. The point is they're not screening 90% of cargo hold baggage
So if you wanted to take the risk that the flight isn't going to be delayed or cancelled, you could still stick a pre-mixed chemical explosive in your luggage on a timer. On long haul flights between the US and UK, you've got a 6-8 hour air-time window to play with; cross-country US, 5-7 hours. That's no secret!

A very real threat exists because of the lack of security at airport freight terminals. Gates left wide open, cargo boxes on access to anyone who wanders or drives by, very little of it screened because there aren't the resources to handle it, and much of that freight -- including US Mail -- winds up in the cargo holds of passenger planes...UNCHECKED. This is nothing new.

The whole carry-on thing is a SCAM that's distracting people from the real security issues that have existed since before 9-11 and have still not been addressed by this good-for-nothing administration.

7. Just curious, how is this affecting Duty Free shops?
Are you no longer allowed to buy Duty Free items? This is going to suck major balls when I fly from Old Europe to USA, not being allowed to bring my lip gloss, I get severely chapped lips on planes. I know that sounds like whining, but on a 9 hr. flight, it will be torturous.

16. I flew to Aruba from the UK in mid-August
Edited on Tue Sep-05-06 01:13 PM by tenshi816
and at that time they weren't allowing anything like lip balm or gloss in our carry-ons when we went through the initial security check - but once we got into the international departure section of the airport, there were signs posted at Duty Free saying that everything sold there could be taken on board, so I marched myself up to the Clinique counter and bought a lip gloss.

On the way back home last Friday, I took everything - compact, lipstick, nail polish, lip gloss and perfume in my carry-on and no one said a word when it was x-rayed in Aruba. I thought I might get nailed in Amsterdam, but sailed right through x-ray there too.

Edit: spelling

10. The alleged plot would involve
mixing liquids once on board... but as stated in an earlier post last week, it is physically impossible to mix a liquid explosive on board as there isn't enough time to do it and the acetone fumes would kill the mixer or at least alarm the flight crew before the bomb was created.
