A NEW verifiable voting machine with paper trail

Here is a new voting machine not linked to diebold that gives full varrification of vote and paper trail. Spread the word and let's see if we can get them in our precincts.

1. Why don't we then just do the count by hand?
the electronic screens are easier to read and there would be no spoiled ballots.

3. something like this would never be embraced by Republicans
anything that prints (and lets you see as it prints) a verifiable record is a no-no to them.

4. Thats the old E-slate, its been around for a while.
The VVPB printer is not going to work in states that mandate randomizing the VVPB papers.

5. Are you series?!?
It's a computerized voting system. Non-transparent. Hackable.

Don't peddle that junk here. OK?

Oh, and welcome to DU.

9. I've seen this stuff used in elections -- the memory cards are floating
everywhere; would be easy, for example, to wear a heavy coat and switch cards out during "chain of custody"

plus the voting machines are daisy-chained together at the precinct; that doesn't seem like a very good idea for security of your vote

I could go on and on

rather than advocating for these wares, go for voting unplugged! Let's hand count real paper and ink ballots; I've done it before and it is by far the most accurate and transparent and economically feasible method
