List Bush's failures on terrorism here (both before and after 9/11)
Here's what I've come up with:

Letting Bin Laden away at Tora Bora

Drug cartels and warlords are in charge in Afghanistan

Failing to look at the Hart-Rudmann Report

Iraq has become a magnet for Al Qaida recruitment and distracted us from the broader War on Terrorism

And let's not forget that Bush cut funding for explosives detection at airports:

And neither should we forget the Dubai Ports World deal

Bush dragged his feet on the USS Cole investigation

Bush also flip flopped on creating the 9/11 Commission, tried to prevent Condi from testifying, and did not testify under oath

Able Danger - Remember the bureaucratic bullshit and stifling of the unit's job

Remember how tried to cut counter-terrorism funding both pre-9/11 AND post-9/11:

And let's not forget the less than steller grades that the 9/11 Commission gave the Bush Administration:

...Or how Homeland Security cut funding for NYC and DC, while at the same time gave money to a freakin' PETTING ZOO?

3. I usually think first of the August memo about bin Laden attacking
Edited on Mon Sep-04-06 05:16 PM by MasonJar
the USA and of Bush not only continuing his vacation, but spending any work time on opposing stem cell research.
I also abhor the fact that Bush did not warn the airlines, which instead of protecting themselves used the time-honored philosophy of doing as the terrorists demanded.
I also cannot understand why the Air Force did not intercept any planes.
I do not know why a president would read a story about a pet goat, albeit upside down during an attack on our country.
I also think of Ashcraft refusing to fly commercial in the summer of 2001.
I think of Richard Clarke begging the Bushites to have a meeting on al Queda and being transferred.
I think of the warning of the FBI in several states, which were purposefully ignored by D.C.
I think of how the whistleblowers were muted by use of seldom used or outdated laws.
I think of Bush refusing to let the Secretary let NYC residents know that the pollution was dangerous in the city and that they should be wary of a return to work. Heaven forbid that the stock market be off work another day.
I think of the great Americans who gave up salary and health to help the citizens of New York City at the rubble.
I think of Bill and Hillary being there to support the people and of the Stump coming and creating a photo op for himself and his minions to use to ruin our country.
This is only my short list; I can add many more.

5. Rejecting Afghanistan's offer to turn of bin Laden to a neutral nation.
It's never been about bin Laden to them.
