RFK for Democratic Party's Voting Integrity Chair

Donna Brazile is Chair of the Democratic National Committee's Voting Rights Institute (VRI)

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=203x448135

I have been told by party officials that I should bring them evidence.
Evidence that the machines can steal votes right from under our noses.

I will, but from now on I am gonna tell them that they need to prove to me that my vote is not being stolen - that your and my votes are being counted as cast.

It is their responsibility to show we voters that elections are fair and square. Our leaders have failed in the elections integrity department, and they'll no longer be allowed to squirm away from making sure elections are for real and not just a bunch of made up electrons.

RFK Jr. will tell the truth. DU could help put him in charge of the DNC Voting Integrity Rights Institute.

What do you think?

13. First step would be to have RFK Jr. state his intentions to seek the job..
Perhaps Mark Crispin Miller could be contacted to make the suggestion?

Howard Dean would need to get onboard at some point.

19. As much as I would love to see RFK Jr in this role, his passion is in
environmental issues, which needs him just as bad.

21. Used to be that was my passion, too
But as you know, mod mom, election reform is the most crucial matter, and lets hope RFK hears of this movement and sees the importance.

10. Be sure to emphasize the PRINCIPLE behind our concern.
to wit:

When the votes are counted in total secrecy by any person or group without verification, THIS BY DEFINITION CAN'T BE A DEMOCRACY.

The source code of the electronic voting machine is totally secret, protected by court decisions as trade secret and proprietary.

Those counting are extreme partisans of one side.

The evidence is overwhelming that fraud has occurred and is occurring but you don't need to have that evidence to understand the principle that democracy is based on. If the DNC can't see that, they don't deserve to have any role in the supposed promulgation of democratic values.

I think the principle has to be reiterated over and over and over until it's drummed into people's heads. It's obvious but evidently we get smitten of technology and forget first principles.

17. Howard Dean
Is the answer to the question of who can make this happen.

RFK Jr is the last chance for our democracy. None of the current officeholders have the wisdom or the guts to tell us the truth.

18. Great idea!
We need someone who understands the process and the ways it can be exploited to suppress voting. RFK, Jr. seems to have done his homework well and really understands the topic.

I'll help in any way I can.
