Tomorrow We Change The World
From MakeThemAccountable.com:

The Day After The Election: Today We Man the Barricades, Tomorrow We Change The World

by Brent Budowsky

The Sunday Washington Post has a front page story about the possibility of major Democratic gains with control of the House and the Senate both within striking distance. The story also points out the huge and unprecedented barrage of negative attacks that will soon be launched.

There are two points that rise to the top.

First, the Republican government has lost so much credibility and trust that they are reduced to only one last tactic: trying to drive Democrats to even lower popularity than they have. We have got to man the barricades and get the message out everywhere we can.

We are the Patriot Party, with 64 Democratic veterans running for the House and Senate. We have a strong, credible national security strategy and a strong commitment to treat our troops and vets as part of the great American family, ending their poor treatment that is a hallmark of the Bush years and all-Republican government. We stand against the war fever and fear politics, and we stand with the long list of retired military leaders who, like Democrats, have offered a better approach than includes diplomacy, political leadership, and national unity, in line with America's traditional role in the free world.

If we man the barricades, we can and will defeat the coming onslaught. And the morning after the election, there will be a revival of America at its best and a revival of the values we believe in.

2. I have a different take...

*Republicans Hold Majority in Both Houses!" *

The voters trusted Bush & the republicans more, with "the war on terrorism" and their safety....The voters apparently also gave a vote of confidence & assurance to Bush, that they want to win the war in Iraq and not "Cut & Run"!

The media reporting Rove/White House spin on November 8th 2006 (a day after the elections).

Where electronic voting fraud accusations are being reported all across the country concerning the Diebold electronic voting machines...Dem's say there was massive fraud all over the country and are going to "look" into it!

Republicans say prove it... (of course there is no way to prove it either way, with the republican owned Diebold machines)

Dem's are accused of being sore losers & sour grapes.

Republicans will take their seats, be sworn in on January 16th 2007 and continue the Bush fascist agenda, just as the voters (or machines) said they wanted.
