Do Republicans teach their children...
to hit hornet nests with sticks? Can't appease those damn hornets, after all. Might give them the wrong idea.

to throw rocks at bears?

to climb onto ant piles in their bare feet and start squishing them one by one between their fingers?

to slap any pitbull they see across the muzzle?

to confront gangs of criminals with nothing more than a camera and a scratch pad?

I'm wondering. If the Republican thinking is that not attacking harmless Islamic countries is somehow appeasing the terrorists, maybe the mindset holds true for other things. Rather than avoid things that might be considered dangerously stupid, maybe a good Republican should march right out there and launch him or herself into near suicidal action at any point they see something that might be trouble.

"No, son. The liberals would tell you NOT to smack that hornet's nest, but liberals are hornet appeasers. A REAL American would walk right up and hit that nest for all he's worth."

"Bears are the enemy. If you should see a bear cub wandering by itself, you must pick up a big rock and chase it back to where it belongs. If you let the possibility that the cub's mother might charge out and attack you to deter you from doing your duty, you're a bear appeaser."

"Ants are the enemy. Using long term strategy and taking the danger into consideration BEFORE attacking is the philosophy of a fool and a coward. March right over there and start squishing ants. Don't mind the bites. It's just last-throes desperation on their part."

"Criminals? Any good Republican wouldn't hide from a gang of ruffians. We'd march right out there and confront them directly. If you ignore them, you're obviously a coward infected by the liberal appeasement disease."

Is it me, or is this the same logic they're using to justify whatever they do--well thought out or not.

2. I think Rethugs teach their kids a sense of perpetual self-righteousness.
I think a lot of their attitude and actions stem from that.

3. I wish SOMEONE would teach Republican kids these things
then, in about 20 years, things will just work themselves out.

5. The only problem with your analogy:
Hornets, bears, criminals, even some ants are real dengers. Iraq never was.

6. When you visit the grave of curtis le may,
When you visit the grave of curtis le may,
to lay a wreath for millions burned alive,
wonder we still of the crimes of the day,
do presidents men with war criminals thrive?

buried in time 'til the endings betray,
koizume then visits the shrines lemay fried,
elvis laughs at the end of the day,
bushian fuckups costing us painfully wide.

Arlington's graves unquestioned today, wondering
snide the imperial loss of corporate sovereignty,
confederates lies, in every office republicans sing,
the union awaits justice yet the truth to ring.
Impeach the lie, punching,
awaken to fly, no thing.

8. No
They don't teach their children to do those things, they teach their children to force poor children to do those things. Republicans believe in having other people die for what they (the repubs) believe in.
