Do NOT Let Them "Distance" Themselves From Chimpy!
Not for a second....make them defend their past Chimpy Luv constantly, they will either step in it with the Freepers or the normal people constantly! I look forward to all the waffling we will see going into November....

1. Jon Corzine won in New Jersey doing just that.

His first campaign commercial pointed out that his Repub opponent was "Bush's choice--is he yours?" Won by ten points. Operation Bush Brush, I call it. And if we can't get them on agreeing to Bush policy, we can still get them on taking Bush money!

to destroy this country; once a 'member', always a 'member'.

5. Important point. Especially for those running our campaigns.
Democrats are sometimes too charitable with the public. 'Everyone can remember what's happened in the past so why bring it up. Right?'

We also think, a little too optimistically, that you can register a point by mentioning it once.

The lessons of the Republicans 1994 campaign apply once again here. Morph your opponents face into Bush's 8 times a night on TV. Or Dick Cheney or Karl Rove. Don't be shy.

Remind them continually that your now "independent" Republican has been a Bush rubber stamp for the last six years.

Drive it home. You can't think about one without thinking of the other.

6. Right on! Without THEM, acting as enablers, Bush would have been limp.

7. They Are His Task Monkeys!
That goes for Lieberman too of course but the GOPs, 100% rubber stampers most of the time. NO DISTANCING ALLOWED...that's like letting them rewrite history!
