1. FOX News Has Been A Major Participant In The Destruction Of Democracy
Make no mistake about it, FOX is no more or less than the propaganda mouthpiece for the wing of the Republican Party which has taken it on themselves to rule this country without the consent of the people.

6. It won't happen
Rev. Moon has been running the Washington Times at a loss for years... but, he's so friggin' rich that it doesn't matter to him, and it's an important propaganda arm for the Republican Party. Since it is a "newspaper", it gives any WT person an air of legitimacy when appearing on those talking heads show.

I think it's the same for Murdoch & Fox News and the NY Post.

10. They'll switch sides....and not hesitate to do it, either
They'll claim they are following the will of the people. And the diehard righties will be bullshit and accuse them of selling out. They'll bleat, to no avail.

They won't do it before the GOP is gone, though, because they aren't stupid and don't want to be swiftboated. But look for them to trend left to keep those advertising dollars ka-chinging in.

4. Faux News is only the propaganda arm of the neocons
As people wake up, they are leaving the viewership.

5. I think the only people who watch it are in my state of Utah. I swear
any public place with a TV is tuned to Fox here. That's the only reason it's even at 24%.

7. Soon there will be Democrats in high office
and Fox News can return to the attacks that put them on the map 10 years ago.
It's what they do best anyway. Maybe Karl Rove can get a job.

I assume now that in early '08 the dems will find themselves blamed for everything from the war to the economy.

Imagine the shift we would have seen in Fox programming if John Kerry were in the White House now.

8. Fox needs a Democrat pres.
Although they have tried to toss in the fearmongering (with no success) they really exist purely on hatemongering. Since they can't go hatemongering on the Repubs, Democrat Congress and White House is Fox's best hope for future ratings.
