Technical question: When I post, reply, or edit, pages do not load complet
ely, no matter how long I wait to let them load. The little graph on the action line goes about half way and hangs there.

I'm trying not to be paranoid about software programmed to follow specific click trails, but is that normal?

1. No, they should load
You might try the computer forum, someone there might have an answer to your problem.

9. I don't think it's the google ads, because it doesn't happen
unless I'm posting, replying, or doing an edit.

10. yyou might have something running in your background
that is sucking up all your system resources and slowing it down. Rss feeds, weather bug and incredi mail (if you use those sort of things)use up a lot of resources. It might be spyware or ad ware too. so try ending a few processes and run your spyware and ad ware programs and see if things clean up for you.

That is IF you're interested in the question and not just being whiny.

12. Sorry.
I AM toooooo serious.

I do see people picking on other people on this board for what appears to be little or no reason other than they can.

I should try to find out if that is any given poster or not, before I assume it is.

7. Try closing your browser then launching again.
I had that constant problem with my older dinosaur computer, the old gal got mixed up on a regular basis and that always helped. She also got confused when I had to many windows open. Worth a try.
