Gore's speech, Hill's MLK remarks, Kerry's reaction to Tweety,
Dr Dean continuing to hammer away at Republicans, Harry Reid (despite his silly apology) whacking wingnuts upside the head - Are we beginning to see a unified theme for the 2006 elections in which Democrats speak out forcefully and strongly? Is it just my wishful thinking or do our Dems really have their act together?

I think we'll see in the polling numbers in a couple months, yeah?

2. Hope so!
They had better get riled up if we are ever going to stop the monsters who control America right now.

3. I doubt it.
With the exception of Gore and Dean (who, sadly, has been mostly silent since he took up the post as Chairman) they always throw us a bone now and then. They try and get our hopes up, that some how, like magic, they've changed.

It feels like an abusive spouse. "Hey, baby, take me back. I've changed, honest. You know you love me. You can't win elections without me!" Yeah, right.

4. A filibuster on Alito would go a long way to change that view I bet
That has me holding back from thinking they really have changed. They could energize us like crazy if they'd just show us they are willing to fight.

7. There does seem to be a little more habanero in the salsa.
Hope they keep it up!
