My son's best friend is leaving for Iraq this Tuesday for about a year. He joined the Marines and just got through with basic training and is home this weekend to visit with his family. He told me he has been classified as a gunner. We hope to see him before he leaves. Nothing else to say. :(

Machine gunners. I suggest you read a book named "Gunners Up!" to see what the job was like in The Nam.
