I was in the hallway and I heard a story about some legislator's wife dying last night. My husband said it was Conyer's wife. Anyone else hear that story?

edited to correct thread title.

2. I believe they were reporting Nellie Connally died: from Yahoo news -
Woman in JFK limo during shootings dies

AUSTIN - Nellie Connally, the widow of former Gov. John Connally and the last remaining survivor who was riding in President Kennedy's limousine when he was assassinated, has died, a longtime family friend said Saturday. She was 87.

Nellie Connally died in her sleep late Friday or early Saturday at Westminster Manor in Austin, where she had been living for about a year after moving from Houston, said Julian Read, who was press secretary to Gov. Connally in the 1960s.

"She died peacefully in her sleep overnight," Read said. "Total surprise. She has been extremely active and vital the past few days and weeks. ... It's a shock to all of us."

3. Okay, that makes sense. I didn't catch the name and hubby thought
they said Conyers. I seem to remember Conyer's wife is a bit younger than he so it didn't make sense.
