Just in case you missed it, on the "baby killer" guardsman attacked
You know, the story from Seattle that got all the play. The guardsman supposedly beaten up by a bunch of peaceniks, calling him "baby killer" and what-not.

Anyhow. Update:

New Questions In Case Of Attack On Guardsman

PARKLAND, Wash. -- Authorities are continuing to investigate a National Guardsman's claim that he was attacked earlier this week in Parkland and called "a baby killer."

A witness who came forward after the incident told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News a different story about what happened on Tuesday morning, but deputies said the witness later changed that story when they interviewed him.

The witness told police he saw several men in uniform beat a man in civilian clothes, but later changed his account to back the guardsman.

Investigators said the witness's stories were inconsistent with the guardsman's, and they are back to "square one" in the investigation.

1. Proof positive!
Of nothing, as usual. That's the media. Race to report and speculate. Fuck the facts.

2. All that will matter to the freepstupid is the initial claim
Most of us were skeptical from the beginning, but everyone knows that reality has a well known Liberal bias.

3. All that matters to most is the initial claim.
And this includes Dems and Reps. It's a human failing to selectively recall and highlight information which correpsonds to your world view and hypothesises...

Just saying...

4. Did they spit on him before they called him baby killer?
As we all know no "peacenik" in his right mind would call a soldier baby-killer without spitting on him first. Didn't anyone see Rambo?
:sarcasm: for the sarcasm impaired...

5. Oh, good GLORY, ya GOTTA read the REST!!!!!!!
An SUV driving, HANDGUN-armed, peacenik!!!!! With pals in RED (commie, see, get it?) sweatshirts!!!! That is RICH!!!!!!

The guardsman, Alexander Powell, said he was walking to a convenience store when a sport utility vehicle pulled up alongside him and the driver asked if he was in the military and if he had been in any action.

The driver then got out of the vehicle, displayed a gun and shouted insults at Powell. Four other suspects exited the vehicle and knocked the soldier down, punching and kicking him, calling him a "baby killer" during the attack, according to Powell.

The driver was described as a white male, 25-30 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, heavy build, short blond hair, wearing a black T-shirt and jeans, and armed with a handgun.

The vehicle's passengers were described as white males, 20-25 years old. Some of the men wore red baseball hats and red sweatshirts during the attack.

10. I will bet, at the end of the day, it shakes out something like this
Drunken Guardsman gets in a pissing contest with a kid--maybe a high school or college kid, on some sort of team that wears red uniforms. (Who knows, what sort of uniforms are they sporting at Wendy's or Burger King nowadays? Could even be a fast food posse!) Said Guardsman kicks the living shit out of the kid.

Kid goes back to his lair, gets some of his pals, and they return in force to give some asswhuppin' back to the Guardsman.

And peaceniks, handguns, and baby-killing never entered the conversation at all. It was probably something far more pedestrian, like "You ain't takin' that last case of Bud" at the convenience store, or "Stop givin' mah girlfriend that look, ya pervert!"

One of those absurd 'Adventures in Testosterone' that happen on the streets of our land with some frequency....

12. You could well have a point--it's not like they're actually doing the
zero tolerance routine in the military any more...!

9. gopigs lose no matter what....
1st, the prowar pro bush bullies are cowards, and news that young white men are making em dance the flying bullets dance, well, it scares goofs who probably skeered of their own shadow....otoh, the 'news' story, so obviously an effort to tar/feather the anti war types, only plays with freeper anyway - the average citizen probably dislikes the war, and thinks it's an atrocity as there was no reason for it, and the massively funded, massively promoted military shouldn't be in 'nam to start with, so civic minded young men slapping around a military guy wouldn't outrage too many anyway!
the table dancer bushpig media looks increasingly ridiculous trying to sell snake oil to people who have learned to laff at that - using a noble entity like 'the troops' to sell their political snake oil exposes them in a way.....
