NeoCons see the unpopularity of the war a mostly a PR problem
So they have hired a hot shot PR firm to sell the war better, seeing as how its not a disaster but poor public relations.

Their low regard for our intelligence has no bounds. They see the nation's sour mood over the masturbatory war as a mere problem of public perception.

How exactly do you sell the gigantic rotting corpse of a war? How do you make a thousand dead a day into something positive?

HOW?

1. Also,
Bush is going to make a series of speeches to tout the positive aspects of the war,
in order to help Reeps in November.

That should do it....

2. To them, everything is only a PR problem
Has there ever been an administration more obsessed with marketing?

4. History tells us that all movements depend on PR...
whether it be religion, politics, or a product.

5. So in 25 years when we are still being attacked in Iraq, will they still
think it's a PR problem? I can just see it. It's the year 2031 and we still have 140,000 troops in Iraq and have lost over 100,000 Americans. Terror attacks around the world and in the US are up 2000% and a 95 year old Bush is still arguing it's just a perception that things are going badly.

9. not just neocons
The republican party , all of it. Oh there are a few decent repubs, but I dont like to seperate that bunch into different groups. That tends to forgive the rubber stamp bunch, which enabled all of this insanity.

It's not like their kids are going over to Iraq and being blown up by an IED. All the have vested in it is some cash, not blood.
