Feds raid office of Alaska legislator, Sen.Ted Stevens' son!!!
Edited on Fri Sep-01-06 08:35 AM by uberblonde
Today's Suburban Guerrilla:

"One of my readers tipped me to a big breaking story in Alaska, one with national implications. Seems the FBI raided the offices of several prominent state legislators, including Senate President Ben Stevens (son of U.S. Sen. Ted Stevens, backer of the famous “bridge to nowhere” and ever so recently, the behind-the-scenes opponent of releasing government contract disclosure).

"The raid is targeted at the connection between these legislators (all but one Republicans) and VECO, a mulitnational oil field services company."

3. I sure hope and pray they nab Murkowski in their efforts.
All those Republicans are thick in the graft especially their Governor who just oozes oil money..

6. Murkowski fought for evey oily thing that came down the pike...
when he was in the Senate. As nutty about the drilling in the game reserve issue, as Stephens is about his Bridge to insanity. I figured all along that Murkowski was skimming and scamming for the EXXONo-fascists. Khanservatives are all JUST ALIKE, when it comes to Cha-Chinging and plundering.

8. Yes but...
When it comes up before a repub appointed federal judge the crooks always escape any punishment and are made to look like victims instead of perps. Then they scream bloody murder about "Conflict Of Interest" in the wire tapping/domestic spying case, against Bush.

Like how they screamed and cried about the democratic make up of the Florida Supreme Court, who ruled in favor of counting the votes in Florida in 2000, but then saw nothing wrong with the mostly KKKonservatine US Supreme Court finally appointing Bush president.

WE, need to start screaming LOUDER too IMHO!

9. Very interesting - hope something comes of it
I thought this was very interesting:

"In Stevens’ office, an agent appeared drawn to something on the back of a framed picture wrapped in protective plastic. "
