And...Malloy's temporary replacement on AAR is (drumroll)...
Edited on Fri Sep-01-06 06:11 AM by Fighting Irish
...This guy:

According to KLSD in San Diego, in an email response to someone at the mikemalloy.com message board, Jon Elliot has been asked by AAR to fill in on that time slot the next couple weeks.

Not sure who AAR is trying to impress with this. :eyes:

1. He Appears To Be Flaming More Than The MIC Jaysis Lose The Suit
What a doofus! Are there really progressive radio voices in San Diego?

3. He looks like an aging Young Republican, doesn't he?
That's the San Diego I remember. Maybe that IS liberal there?

And, why "dangerous"? Sounds like AAR is having an identity crisis.

2. "The most dangerous liberal in America," eh?
I wonder who he's dangerous to? Other liberals, I'm guessing.

5. Would a liberal really tag himself with that line?
Something stinks here.

4. There were a lot of liberals there in the sixties
Edited on Fri Sep-01-06 06:35 AM by acmejack
But there were a lot conservatives arresting them too. I remember cops hassling me at gunpoint once there. A first in my lifetime...

Ocean Beach...

7. At GUNPOINT!! Good grief. The very thought makes my blood run cold.
What on earth was happening that the police felt it necessary to use guns? Mugging little ol' ladies??

9. Nothing at all!
Edited on Fri Sep-01-06 07:11 AM by acmejack
Just a group of hippies and soldiers on the beach at night. Scared the crap out of us though!

The cops there would give you a ticket for Jaywalking if you stepped off the curb before the light changed.

6. Must be cheaper than Mike. You know when you start substituting margarine
for butter.......and think the customers can't taste the difference.....you are in trouble.

8. He subbed for Sam Seder awhile back
When Sam was off, Jon Elliott subbed for him. I found him to be pretty boring. I just couldn't listen to him. He was very liberal, just couldn't hold my attention. Now that I see him, he looks totally different than I pictured him based on his voice.

11. I remember him subbing for Sam.
I also remember him saying he was flying into New York City after the last show, for business, I beleve he said. That was when I knew he was going to replace someone, but I thought it would be Sam. I did not have a clue it would be Mike.

One thing I did get from him when I listened; he is a big supporter of Israel. Take what you want from that.

Note: He bored me after awhile and I will not listen to him.

15. I didn't hear that part
I didn't hear him say that he was flying to NY for business, that must have been after I turned him off. Interesting...this was a few weeks ago, so if this was the plan of AAR, it's been in the works for a few weeks now.

The program just seemed so disorganized, guests not on time, or no shows, it just seemed like a show that was thrown together at the last minute. And I found him to be :boring:
