Dems. theme should be "BUSH IS SOFT ON TERRORISM"
We need to define terrorism as anything which can terrorize Americans by killing, maiming, frightening, making homeless. Then showing how Bush failed to deal adequately with these threats..It includes:
**Those who would harm us by attacking our airplanes (or via our airplanes), our ports, our subways, our trains, our busses, our power plants, our auditoriums, our chemical plants, our water supply, our hospitals, our governmental buildings.
Bush wasted a gazillion dollars, placed thousands of patriotic American servicepeople in harm's way, depleted our military, all to go after a secular (yes, bad guy) dictator who had neither the ability to harm us, nor the connection with the really bad guys. And Bush failed to provide the funds and leadership to shore up homeland security.

**Middle class and poor peoples' fears and insecurities from job losses, healthcare losses, being left behind in general as Bush squandered resources in the wrong place, while cutting taxes to increase the wealth of the wealthiest 2% of Americans.

**Osama bin Laden roams free because Bush took his eye off the real threats. Was Bush just chickenshit to go after OBL, or was it about "The Oil, Stupid?" Are we not fearful about OBL's next move?

**Any natural disaster. Katrina proved that Bushco had no real interest or competence to do anything meaningful during a natural disaster. Those of us who get the next hurricane, earthquake,
tornado, flood, blizzard should be very afraid. Those who don't believe in government being necessary are certainly not capable of governing.

DEMOCRATS WILL GO AFTER THE REAL TERRORISTS!!

4. How About Bush Confuses Iraq With Germany . . .
Particularly with his references to Islamic-Fascism. Its kind of like bulemic-obesity, the use of Islamic-Fascism to describe the terrorists is almost an oxymoron since the terrorists are NOT centralized, nationalistic government, but a highly decentralized movement comprised of various independent sleeper cells.

Oh well, I guess we will continue to have Bush and Co announcing the capture of the Terrorist Mastermind of month, and declaring that "Freedom is winning," "Mission Accomplished," and that the insurgency is in its death throes.

Hesitant Bush, Vice Hesitant Cheney, Donald RumsFAILED, KKKarl Rove can rant, shout, accuse, scream as much as they want about who appears weak on national defense and national security

BUT

Only The Republican party has DEMONSTRATED failure on national defense and national security when the planes hit the world trade center and the pentagon and a field in Pennsylvania on Sept 11,2001.

ONLY The REPUBLICAN PARTY!!!!!

8. Bush Has FAILED In The War On Terror
5 years after 9-11, after spending half a trillion dollars, and after the death of 2,700 American servicepeople plus an
additional 18,000 wounded, Osama bin Laden is still at large and still killing Americans.

If that isn't failure, what is?
