See Barbaro Enjoying Some Grass!
Barbaro enjoys being out in the sun, chomping on the grass and walking with Dr. Richardson:

1. This is wonderful
I've been trying to keep up with his recovery. I really think if he had not been injured, we would have had our first Triple Crown winner since 1978.

Oh the might have beens.

4. Heartwarming video.
Thank you, yet again, for updating us on this story of hope. There are 'lessons' there.

6. Good to see...thank you for the link!
Laminitis is such an insidious condition--it can flare up without warning--which is Barbaro's biggest threat now, so I'm cautiously hopeful for Barbaro's long-term recovery. But this video gives hope--he looks so good and is moving on all fours unbelievably well. Thanks again for posting this.

Now for some much needed good thoughts for 2005's Sprinter of the Year, Lost in the Fog, who is battling a tough, rather advanced case of cancer. His team is trying to shrink his tumors with medication in hopes of making them small enough for surgical resection...but it's a longshot. Think good thoughts, everyone!

10. Oh, sure.
That uppity horse gets to enjoy grass but I go to prison if I even try it.

11. Hey Barbaro fans! I can't say enough good things about
the people at www.timwoolleyracing.com. They have the best site for all things Barbaro, including the link to the New Bolton Center. The Tim Woolley people usually have an update 2 x daily. NBC is much less often--they are plenty busy with their own important work.
The Tim Woolley site updates on the other horses, as well.
