I am a big Malloy fan. I stronly dislike him being off the air again (for now). But a boycott of AAR, when it is one of the very very few counters to the RW echo chamber, is counterproductive. On the boycott thread yesterday, someone said "I save my boycott for all things republican". I think that's wise.

I for one also listen to Randi. She also speaks truth to power, speaking at length about Carlyle, Ptech, Sibel etc. Absolutely no need to put her out of a job.

that "left-wing" radio is in such short commercial-supply that we have got to (or feel we have to) cling to an inferior product (the current AAR format) out of desperation.

If the left were not so desperate, we would not cling to AAR like an abused spouse.

I will (as a consumer) reject AAR for a year unless AAR puts Mike back on the air. I will have to stream Stephanie Miller, but she is not AAR, so they can bite me until they get a clue.

...anyway, I am a contributor to KPFK (Pacifica in So Cal) so I'm good.
